This section is to simply break down the practical part of the test for you. It is split into 2 parts, 38 to 40 minutes of driving with 1 maneuver and possibly an emergency stop then an independent drive.
With everything we have taught you to be a safe and confident driver, now is your time to demonstrate this. Relax and remember this is your drive so enjoy it.
Don’t focus on making mistakes, but remember you already know what to do. Listen carefully to the examiner and follow their direction with you in control.
The examiner will then move onto the independent driving part of the test. They will be looking at your ability to to follow road signs and directions. For example follow the signs to Ross-on-wye.
If you forget what the examiner has asked you to do then simply ask them to repeat it. Even if you follow the wrong direction, so long as you have done this safely, there should be no fault recorded against your driving.
